Professional Overview Maricela Meraz serves as Director of Operations, bringing a strong operational lens and a deeply personal commitment to excellence in home care services. She is responsible for overseeing operational performance, ensuring quality standards, and building accountable systems that support both clients and caregivers across the organization. About Maricela Maricela’s journey into home care began during her grandfather’s hospitalization, when her family experienced firsthand the impact of an exceptional caregiver. Through his health journey, she became aware of how complex the aging network can be and how many families are unfamiliar with state programs and how to navigate the system to access home care support. Motivated to make a difference, Maricela entered the industry as a case manager, evaluating seniors’ eligibility for services and guiding families through available resources. Steve RussellFinance Director/Controller

Steve is a CPA with over 35 years of accounting experience working in both public and corporate accounting roles. He holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Benedictine University, and a MBA in Finance from DePaul University. Steve spent most of his career providing financial leadership to service organizations. Steve has extensive experience in all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, revenue cycle management, budgeting & forecasting, treasury management, external financing, and capital planning in both for-profit and non-profit organizations. Outside of work, Steve enjoys playing tennis and pickleball. He enjoys spending time with family. His favorite summer activity is going to Wrigley field for an afternoon Cub’s game.

In that role, I researched medical device and pharmaceutical companies and got a deep understanding of the healthcare field.
